ACTIVITIES: school shopping, guitar and cheering practices!
EXERCISE: morning stretches
BREAKFAST:
- 3/4 cups oatmeal with sliced strawberries
- < handful of blueberries
LUNCH:
SNACKS: Trail Mix – I really need to stop putting my hand in the bag and measure out a serving instead.
DINNER:
- 2 – 12″ wraps – white flour
- 1/2 chicken breast (left-over from last night – shredded)
- lettuce and tomato
- ranch dressing
- 4 slices bacon
Dessert: I am so full from dinner – I shouldn’t have had a second wrap – but I wanted to finish the chicken – that was dumb – this is how I get myself into trouble. So no dessert for me – blechk!
DRINKS: water
HEADACHE: no
SINUS: not bad
OTHER:
SLEEP PROBLEMS FROM THE NIGHT BEFORE: not sure if it was the wine or the caffeine in my system but I had some problems. Not a choking feeling but a sense of stopped breathing – like everything in my body stopped, but I was alert and aware of it. It happened twice and then I talked myself into relaxing and not worrying about it – must have worked because I fell asleep and I am awake now!
MEDICATIONS:
- nasacort
- vitamins
NOTE: It is very cool outside – a nice fall-type day
Week 7: Wednesday’s Meals/Activities and Conditions
ACTIVITIES: My parents are coming for a visit – I think as i have not spoken to them since Sunday – but I do believe they will be here. I have my daughter’s open house today. BREAKFAST:
- Cheerios
- 3 large Strawberries – sliced

HEADACHE: sinus related – upper right eye
SINUS: so much pressure – I hate this weather
OTHER: neck kink – see below!
SLEEP PROBLEMS FROM THE NIGHT BEFORE: I had no problems falling asleep but my neck is kinked because: You know those candy pillows or whatever… my daughter took my pillow and replaced it with a Double Bubble oversized pillow and put my pillowcase over it. (I wouldn’t have minded the Reese’s pillow – it was flatter!) I was so tired last night I just dealt with it, but it was quite uncomfortable!
gotta luv her!
MEDICATIONS:
- nasacort – my sinuses are killing me today
- vitamins
NOTE: I weighed myself because Yes, I am obsessed with it and was extremely pissed that I gained two pounds – but I dropped the 2 lbs. and that was after breakfast – so I am not doing as badly as I thought. It must have been the 10 or so martinis from the weekend and all the shrimp and lobster I ate during the cocktail hour!

Weigh-In for Week 6: I’d Rather Not Say!
Forget drum rolls,
Forget history,
Forget everything
My number is: 177
The kids start school in a week.
At that time, I will go in for my blood work and all my doctor appointments have been scheduled for September – let the fun begin.
I really haven’t been good with watching what I eat, so I didn’t expect a weight loss – but other than the wedding – I don’t think I overdid it.
Although, I do believe nuts are fattening! Gotta stay away from the nuts (family included! LOL)
